Notas sobre la canción

- La canción Breakout aparece en la película Yo, yo mismo e Irene. Dave Grohl muestra tener un desorden de personalidad (similar al de Jim Carrey en la película) y Traylor Howard, quien también participó en la película, es vista en el vídeo como su novia.
Al inicio del vídeo, Dave viene escuchando en su coche la canción “Generator“, otra canción del disco There Is Nothing Left to Lose.
